This video leads to my second video, in which is another situation where a group of civilians catch a thief. However, in this situation, it is seen more graphically. The thieves are brutally beaten; having their heads smashed against the floor, and bricks jammed and thrown on their hands and bodies.
One can argue that this is inhumane, and I must agree that it is to an extent. I do believe that the thieves have it coming if they get caught for committing a crime. But having bricks blasted at their body parts is going a bit over the edge. It can be put in the same category of punishment by the electric chair. Although it might still seem very wrong, I still have to say again, that they did deserve what was coming to them. The Chinese have no tolerance when it comes to breaking the rules. What do you think?

Yeah, Chinese people are very united against thieves.
ReplyDeleteI think it's because people in China have a really hard time earning money and when something valuable is stolen from them, a lot of them will struggle for a long time to regain it.
So that's solidarity from everyone! woohoo!
