Behind the Scenes of Meat Production

I live to eat. I absolutely adore food, especially MEAT! Beef, chicken, lamb, duck... you name it, I eat it! However, my friend recently sent me a video (a really disturbing one) of what goes on behind the scenes of meat production. As we all probably know, the meat industry isn't really the most animal-friendly industry out there. After watching the video, I felt sick (which I don't normally feel); It made me feel sick to watch how people treat these other living creatures as if they couldn't feel pain. It was pure evil and disgusting. Here is the video, *viewer discretion is advised*:

How cruel can humans be? Throwing live new born chicks into grinders, castrating piglets without painkillers while they squeal in horror, slicing a cow open while it's still alive... that's just to name a few. The video is trying to raise awareness of animal cruelty in meat industry and to convert people to veganism. I don't think I'll turn vegan from this video, but it for sure raised my awareness of these horrible methods, and I will for sure be aware of the different kinds of meat before I buy it.
