That's a waste of BACON!

In January-February of 2011, South Korea buried approximately 3 million pigs... ALIVE! The reason for this massive burial of live pigs and piglets was because the pigs were spreading a disease called the "foot-and-mouth disease" to other pigs which cost South Korean farmers over $1 billion, since it affected South Korea's ability to export meat. Here is the video of this disgusting animal cruelty:

At first, I thought the reason why they didn't kill the pigs humanely was because it was too costly. But after doing some research, I found that if the killed the pigs humanely, it would have cost South Korea $100 million, as to having them buried alive, which cost them close to $365 million... so money wasn't the issue.

South Korea is not the only country which engaged in this cruel practice, Egypt had done the exact same thing in 2009, burying over 250,000 pigs in fear that they will spread swine flu.

Who's side are you on?

Here's a video where a fight breaks loose on a bus between a 67 year old Vietnam veteran, Tom Bruso, and a young African-American man, Michael. The fight started when Tom Bruso, talks about having his shoes shined before his friend's wedding. Michael overheard Bruso's conversation, and replies with "Why does a brother gotta shine your shoes?" He misinterpreted Bruso's conversation and thought that Bruso was directing the comment at him. An argument broke loose, and Tom stood up and decided to try to avoid any further confrontation between him and Michael, so he walked to the front of the bus. Michael then followed him and bombarded him with hostile comments and then walks back to his seat. As Michael was heading back to his seat, Tom lets out a final remark, which lead to Michael running furiously at the 67 year old vet. Michael throws a fist at Tom, which was followed by 3 massive blows to Michael's head. Tom was furious and stormed out of the bus, leaving Michael all battered and bloody on the floor.

This is the video:

After the fight both men were interviewed. Tom's side of the story was that he was simply talking about his friend's wedding and getting his shoes spit shined, then when Michael budded in, he asked, as to start conversation, how much he would charge to get his shoes spit shined.

Michael's side of the story was that Tom actually directed the question at him to spit shine his shoe, which caused him to react this way. He also stated that he was a bit intoxicated.

Here is the full interview with Michael and snippets of the interview with Tom Bruso:

So who do YOU think is telling the truth? Who's side are you on? I personally think that Tom Bruso was telling the truth and that he tried his best to avoid a fight. The evidence of the videos proves Tom's innocence.

Playing 3 Different Instruments... at the SAME time!

This video that I will be talking about today is of a really talented young Chinese girl. My grandmother sent me this video and I was pretty amazed at the skill this young lady had. I could barely play one instrument, and this girl is able to play THREE.. and at the SAME time! I thought that was really unique. You can tell she is really focused and passionate when she plays her piano, violin, and I'm not sure what the third instrument is (an Asian harp-piano) simultaneously. Here's the video, just thought I should share it!

I got to also mention that the girl is pretty cute too!

Never Give Up

I came across a really inspirational video that I thought I should share. It's about a man who was born without any arms or legs, and no matter all the troubles he goes through in life, he still has the will and motivation to keep on going and live his life to the fullest. This man's name is Nick Vujicic and he is truly a wonderful human being. In his speeches he sends a strong message, "No matter how tough life might seem, don't ever give up. You might fail at first, but if you keep on trying, you'll reach your goals and succeed."

This video is really inspirational for me, and it really motivates and helps me to think that there's no such thing as impossible. If I put in a lot of hard work and willpower, anything will become possible, and I will reach my goal no matter how many times I fail in the process of reaching it. If even someone like Nick is able to get back up and not give up in life, there should be no reason for anyone to give up. No matter how hard life may be at times, don't give up! Everything will work out in the end.
